Frameless glass roofs
Imagine looking up at the stars or being bathed in light whilst working on the kitchen table. Large glass roofs maximise the daylight in a home making even the dullest winter days a positive experience. With the latest technology exact architectural glazing creates bright spaces whilst maintaining a pleasant internal temperature.

A glass roof extension or lean to glass extension requires more thought than just the glazing. It's important to consider flashings, guttering and how water runoff is transitioned to a drain. Installing glass with lead flashings and plastic guttering will ruin the look of what should enhance the design of your home. At Fablight we look at the whole design and don't only focus on the glass element of a roof.
Large structural glass roofs need supporting which can be achieved with low iron glass beams or thin powder coated steel T bars. As all fixings are covered, the glass still maintains a frameless appearance. If toughened glass roof panels aren't supported you will end up with water pooling as the panes bow.
